On this day March 27, 1988, at WrestleMania IV in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Randy “Macho Man” Savage emerged victorious over "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase to claim the WWF Heavyweight Championship title. Additionally, Demolition, consisting of Ax and Smash, defeated Strike Force (Rick Martel and Tito Santana) to seize the WWF Tag Team Championship.
