On January 24, 1987, "At This Moment" by Billy Vera and the Beaters ascended to the top of the charts in the United States, maintaining its #1 position from January 24 to February 6. Notably, it also achieved the same feat in Canada.

Fun Fact: "At This Moment" was the love song for Alex and Ellen on Family Ties, and the actors who portrayed them got married in real life. Originally released in 1981, the song was re-released in 1986 due to its newfound popularity from Family Ties. Great song and obviously they chose a great show to play it on.
