It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, the fourth consecutive album of the series to do so, and stayed there for six weeks, also dethroning its rival Hits 5 from that position.
Now 8 features three songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart: “Don’t Leave Me This Way”, “I Want to Wake Up with You” and “Every Loser Wins”.
