On this day March 7 1981 an 18 year old teenager was fatally stabbed at Disneyland’s Tomorrowland after an altercation with a 28 year old man. The incident occurred after the teen reportedly pinched the man’s girlfriend leading to a violent confrontation that ended in tragedy.
This was one of the rare but shocking incidents of violence at Disneyland a park known for its family friendly environment. Despite strict security measures occasional violent crimes and accidents have taken place over the years.
